Weed Treatment

An Important Message from the Bass Lake Conservancy District:

With permit approval of the DNR, Aquatic Control will be treating approximately 123 acres of Eurasian watermilfoil at Bass Lake on Monday, June 14, 2021 – weather permitting.  As a reminder, Eurasian watermilfoil is an invasive plant that spreads easily and quickly. It also crowds out native plants, reducing biodiversity, and diminishes fish habitats.  Dense mats of watermilfoil can also form near the surface.  Aquatic Control will be posting lawn signs in areas as to the specific treatment; follow instructions that are posted.

To view the 2021 treatment map(s), go to: www.blcd-ind.org. On the Home Page click on LAKE MAPS; scroll down to 2021 EWM (Eurasian Water Milfoil) Map for treatment locations.

If you have any questions/concerns, please contact the Bass Lake Conservancy District at 574-772-2974.
