The Board of Directors of the Bass Lake Conservancy District announces that the annual meeting of the Board of Directors will occur on Saturday, July 1, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. (local time) at the Bass Lake Property Owners Association building located at 6996 South SR 10, Knox, Indiana 46534. All freeholders are encouraged to attend.

There will not be a contested election at the 2023 annual meeting. The directorship positions serving District 1 is up for election at the 2023 annual meeting. Melissa Long was the sole freeholder to file a nominating petition for the District 1 directorship position. At the annual meeting, Melissa Long will be sworn in for a four (4) year term expiring at the 2027 annual meeting.

The newly convened Board of Directors of the Bass Lake Conservancy District will organize by electing amongst its members a Chairperson and a Vice Chairperson and will conduct such other business as it is appropriate at the annual meeting, including, but not necessarily limited to, report to the public the status of the conservancy district’s activities.
